In short: the Site has no accounts, sign-ups, comments or forms. We use tracking and attribution services to measure visits and affiliate clicks, and many links are affiliate links. You can email us with any question or request.

This Privacy Policy explains how Consumer Value Reviews Guide (“we,” “us,” “our”), the publisher of consumervaluereviewsguide.com (the “Site”), handles information. The Site is a free product review and comparison website. It has no user accounts, sign-up, login, comments or online forms.

Information you send us. If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, your browser sends information to the Site’s servers and to the third-party services described below. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page or ad click information, and the date and time of your visit.

The Site and the third-party services it uses may set cookies or use similar technologies (such as local storage and tracking pixels) to recognize a browser, measure visits and attribute clicks and purchases to the pages and ads that led to them. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some of them may affect how parts of the Site work.

3. Analytics, Advertising and Attribution

We use AnyTrack, a third-party tracking and attribution service, to measure visits to the Site and the clicks that lead visitors from the Site to third-party seller and brand websites, and to connect those clicks to resulting purchases or other actions. AnyTrack may pass this information to advertising and measurement services such as Google Ads and Google Tag Manager so that campaign results can be measured and reported. If you arrive from a Google ad, ad-click identifiers in the page address are used for this purpose.

You can manage how Google personalizes ads through Google’s Ads Settings.

4. Affiliate Links

Many links on the Site are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave the Site and go to a website run by another company, such as a retailer, brand or affiliate network. That company may collect information under its own privacy policy, and it may tell us that a purchase occurred so that we can be compensated. We do not control those websites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We use the information described above to operate and secure the Site, understand how it is used, measure and improve our advertising and content, attribute affiliate clicks and purchases, and respond to messages we receive.

We share information with the service providers described in this policy as needed to operate the Site and measure advertising. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or security of the Site, our visitors or others. We do not sell the contact details of people who email us.

8. Internal Google Ads Management Application (Google User Data)

Consumer Value Reviews Guide uses an internal advertising management and analytics tool named Consumer Value Reviews Guide Ads Manager to manage and analyze its own Google Ads advertising campaigns. It is an internal operational tool. It is not offered to, and cannot be used by, visitors to the Site, and it is not a service for clients or other advertisers.

Access to Google data. With authorization granted through Google’s OAuth process, Consumer Value Reviews Guide Ads Manager accesses Google Ads account data through the Google Ads API. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or Google Contacts.

Data the tool may access. This includes Google Ads account and campaign configuration (such as campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets and bidding settings) and advertising performance information (such as impressions, clicks, costs and conversions).

How the data is used. We use this data only for our own advertising operations: internal advertising management, reporting and analysis, creating and configuring campaigns, and optimization workflows. The tool can both retrieve reporting data and make changes to campaigns in the connected Google Ads account. Campaign changes prepared with the tool are validated and reviewed internally before they are activated in production.

Storage and sale. Where the tool keeps Google Ads data, such as reports and analysis results, it keeps it for these internal purposes. We do not sell Google user data.

Your control. Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time in the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops the tool from retrieving further data from that account. For questions or requests about Google Ads data handled by the tool, contact us using the address below.

9. Your Choices

You can limit cookies and tracking through your browser settings and Google’s Ads Settings, and you can choose not to click affiliate links. If you would like to ask a question about information we may hold about you, or ask us to delete an email you sent us, contact us at the address below.

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Economic Area and United Kingdom), you may have rights to ask what information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, or to object to or opt out of certain uses of it, including some advertising uses. The Site is a general-audience shopping resource and is not directed to children.
